# Backup import failed

> Zenith couldn't import a file. Usually it's the wrong kind of file, or the wrong import button.

| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| **Cannot import this file. Choose a valid .eevx account file.** | This is a backup, not a single account file. Use **+** › **Import backup** instead. |
| **…isn't an Eevx backup** | **Import backup** only takes `.eevxbackup` files. For a text list of accounts, use **Batch enroll**. |
| **This backup exceeds the 32 MiB import limit** | Export fewer accounts per backup file. |

## Imported, but accounts need sign-in

The backup is older than the accounts' last PTC login, so its saved sign-ins no longer work. Sign the accounts in again, or import a fresh backup. See [Backups](https://pogozenith.com/docs/app/backups/).
