# Sign-in required

> An account's saved sign-in no longer works, so Zenith skips it until you sign in again.

The account shows **Sign-in required** in the Accounts tab, or a switch fails with **PTC sign-in required**. A mode may refuse to start with **None of the selected accounts is ready**.

## What it means

The saved sign-in for this account has expired or was replaced. That happens, for example, after the account signed in on another phone, or after an old backup was imported.

## What to do

### PTC accounts

1. In **Accounts**, open the account's **⋮** menu.
2. Tap **Sign in again** and finish the sign-in in the browser.

### Google accounts

Google accounts can't sign in again from Zenith. Restore the account from a fresh [backup](https://pogozenith.com/docs/app/backups/), or sign in to it again in Pokémon GO.

> [!TIP]
> Use each account on one phone only, and make a new backup after signing in. An old backup stops working once the account signs in again.

## Could not refresh PTC sign-in

This means Zenith couldn't reach PTC. Check your internet connection and try again. If you see **PTC is temporarily unavailable or limiting requests**, see [PTC is limiting requests](https://pogozenith.com/docs/common-issues/ptc-rate-limit/).
