# Events

> Limited-time modes for Pokémon GO events. They appear in the Events group while the event runs.

> Event modes come and go with app updates. A mode with an end date shows **Until** on its card and leaves the list after that day. This page covers the events in the current version.

## Halloween Candy Boxes

Jumps around a city and opens the Halloween boxes that hold Rare Candy. Nothing is caught or spun, and opening a box starts no travel cooldown.

- **Reaching boxes:** **Hop around a city** (default) moves between areas the account hasn't visited yet. **Hop near the start point** walks a route and hops onto each box.
- **Rare Candy goal:** off by default. Ends the account once it has collected the amount you set.
- **Area:** the centre (New York Midtown by default, a saved route or coordinates) and the radius to cover.
- **Remember boxes across accounts:** on by default, so the next account goes straight to the boxes found.
- **Time limit:** 15 minutes per account by default.

## Pokémon Night Out

Chooses and completes the **Low Key** or **Amped** Toxtricity research, then walks to finish its tasks.

- **Toxtricity:** **Random** (default), **Low Key** or **Amped**. Only used on accounts that haven't chosen yet.
- **Route:** the **Midtown Manhattan loop**, or one of your saved routes (handy for an account on a travel cooldown).
- **Evolve for tasks** and **Power up for tasks:** on by default. Favourite, shiny, lucky, 100% IV, legendary and other special Pokémon are never used.

## National Trust

Visits the National Trust locations an account still needs, then claims the research and catches the rewards.

## Pikachu's Autumn Picnic

Visits the picnic PokéStops for the event research and claims its rewards. The mode card shows how many of your accounts have completed it, and **Rewards** shows what it gives. Accounts that already claimed it finish at once.

For National Trust and the Picnic, **Transfer rewards** can transfer reward catches that are verifiably not shiny and not 100% IV. Anything that can't be read is kept.

## Mewtwo 10th Anniversary

Completes the Mewtwo anniversary Timed Research and catches Mewtwo. Not for your protected main account.

## Mega Finale GO Pass Rewards

Collects the GO Pass rewards an account has earned and catches its reward Pokémon. No settings.

## Event Reward Cleanup

Claims ready Special and Timed Research rewards and catches every event encounter.
