# Farming

> Walk a route while catching, spinning, hatching eggs and claiming research, on one account after another.

Farming walks your chosen route and does everything you switch on along the way. Each account farms for its own time or limit, then the next account starts.

## Route

### Route

Choose a saved route. With no route saved, the mode can't start.

On the **Routes** screen you can:

- **Import GPX with +**: load a route file from another app or website.
- **Generate nearby route**: Zenith builds a loop through nearby PokéStops and Gyms. Set the number of stops and the radius, tap **Preview**, then **Save route**. The game must be open on the map.
- **Edit** a route: rename it, or paste coordinates, one `latitude,longitude` per line.

### Walk speed

1 to 60 km/h. Default 10.5 km/h. You can also change the speed live from the [overlay](https://pogozenith.com/docs/app/overlay/).

### When the route ends

**Loop** (default), **Out and back** or **Once**.

## Catching

- **Catch Pokémon:** on by default.
- **Which Pokémon:** **Any**, only the species you pick, or all except them.
- **Catch from:** **Wild**, **Lure** and **Incense** are on by default; **Adventure Incense** is off.
- **Transfer catches:** off by default. Transfers new catches except those your keep rules protect: an IV or CP minimum, shiny, 100% IV, legendary, special background, costume, size and more.

## PokéStops and Gyms

- **Spin PokéStops:** on by default. **Spin Gyms:** off.
- **Place gym defenders:** puts eligible Pokémon in your team's gyms, lowest CP first. Favourites and your buddy are never used.
- **Feed gym defenders:** gives berries to your team's gyms that need motivation.

## Research and GO Pass

- **Field research:** claim rewards, catch reward encounters and take snapshot tasks. On by default.
- **Event research:** claim event research, for all running events or only the ones you pick.
- **GO Pass:** claim rewards and catch reward encounters. Off by default.

## Eggs and items

- **Incubate eggs:** fills incubators, limited ones first. Choose the egg order and which sizes each incubator type may take.
- **Balls** and **Berries:** which ones to use, in order.
- **Use Lucky Eggs** and **Use Star Pieces:** one at a time while catching or spinning, only if the account has one.

## Account limits

- **Time limit:** 60 minutes per account by default.
- **Catch limit**, **Spin limit** and **Walk limit:** optional. The account ends when it reaches any limit you turned on.
- **Loop accounts:** start again from the first account after the last one.

## Advanced

Catch and spin pace, ball reserves to keep, and **Stack shiny encounters** / **Stack hundo encounters**, which leave those research encounters for you to catch yourself.
