PTC is limiting requests

Pokémon Trainer Club is busy or slowing down sign-ins. Wait, then try again.

You may see PTC is temporarily unavailable or limiting requests. Wait a little, then retry., or a batch stops with PTC asked for a human check.

What it means#

Pokémon Trainer Club limits how many sign-ins it accepts in a short time. After a few quick sign-ins it may slow down, refuse for a while, or ask for a human check.

What to do#

Wait a while before trying again. A few minutes is often enough; after a human check, wait longer.
Sign in to one account by hand in Accounts (⋮ › Sign in again) and solve the check if one appears.
For batches, keep Private browser session on and use a longer Pause between accounts.
